Two years ago I bought a very awesome kit to make frozen pops from my nearby Lakewinds Co-op. It was made by the BellyFuLL company and came with a book of simple, whole-ingredient recipes.
Avocados were on sale because of the Super Bowl and perhaps I got carried away. To use up an extra avocado, I made these delicious pops today (courtesy of BellyFULL). They have a creamy texture with a refreshing apple flavor.
Applesauce-A-Saurus Frozen Pops
1 2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 avocado, minus the pit and peel
2/3 cup vanilla yogurt
Add ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into frozen pop mold and add sticks. Freeze for three hours.
